Should Christians have a fatalistic outlook on life? How much of life can we really control? If God controls everything, should we blame him when life doesn't go as expected?

From the beginning, Jesus called his followers to adopt a different way of viewing the world, a Godly way of seeing true reality. Sometimes we glimpse that reality as an imagination of what’s possible. Occasionally, we live out these kingdom values making them reality for us and those around us.

How can we have joy during trials? Generally speaking, our society pursues safety and comfort. James doesn’t want us to go looking for trouble, but he wants us to know that struggles have a purpose.
